Many dates for Operation Zero program are available from March 3 to May 19 on
Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The OZ program is best suited for groups
of 6 to 10 people. This is a great program for business groups, church
groups and other organizations. OZ groups will meet park rangers at the
boat dock in the morning, and then go to a cove or beach to remove trash
from the shoreline. Bring a sack lunch, water, and be ready to spend a few
hours helping keep Lake Mead clean.
There are more people who love the lake than have a boat, said Lake Mead Volunteer
Manager Nancy Bernard. We came up with this program to cleanup remote
areas while giving families and groups a chance to get out on the lake.
Families or groups interested in participating should contact Chris
